Community Tour

The Yukon Environmental and Socio-economic Assessment Board conducted a community tour to assist the public in understanding YESAB's roles and responsibilities and its proposed Rules.

Public meetings were held in communities throughout the territory in August and September 2005. At each meeting, the Board made a presentation on its proposed Rules. The Rules describe how assessments will be conducted under the Yukon Environmental and Socio-economic Assessment Act (YESAA). The presentation also included background information on the Board and the Act.

Currently there is no community tour in progress.
